There is so much praise for the human eye, but anyone who has seen the full breadth of the electromagnetic spectrum will recognize how blind we are. We cannot see magnetic fields, ionizing radiraion, or radon. We cannot smell or taste carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, or methane, but if we breathe it in we are dead.
